Skinboosters
With aging and under the influence of many factors the concentration of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin decreases which gives the face an aged and tired look.
Except recovering the normal hydrobalance of the skin, the hyaluronic acid also stimulates the fibroblasts so that they can produce their own collagen. The hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin thanks to its ability to bind water mollecules in the skin. The hyaluronic acid also gives the skin a young and smooth look and it increases the its elasticity. The skinboosters contain stabilized hyaluronic acid which makes the condition of the skin better and gives it strength and glow.

The difference between skinboosters and dermal fillers
Unlike the dermal fillers which are mainly used for volume and filling of deep wrinkles, the skinbooters have softer and finer consistency and they deeply hydrate the skin, improve its elastic properties and gently smooth it.
About the procedure and what to expect after it
The procedure is performed after a consultation with our specialist in the clinic. Depending on the nature of the aesthetic problem and the expected result our specialist assesses the necessity of the manipulation. Our specialist also decides between filler and skinbooster. Skinboosters can be applied to both men and women and the areas of treatment include not only the facial skin but also the area of the lips, neck, chest and arms.
This is a procedure which uses injections. During the procedure the product is deposited in the dermis layer. The aim of the procedure is to hydrate and correct fine wrinkles both directly and by increasing the elastic properties in the surrounding areas.
The effect is visible immediately after the procedure. The skinbooster is injected in the targeted areas where a topical anesthetic cream has been applied. Patients describe the procedure as fast and pain-free.
The condition of the skin gets better and the effect is visible for 3-5 weeks. In most cases the number of recommended procedures is 3-5. The effect may last 6 months after the last procedure.
Skinboosters are widely used in combination with other aesthetic products and procedures – fillers, mesotherapy, Botox, radiofrequency therapy, chemical peel, etc. Red spots may appear in the injected areas but they will subside in the next 2-3 days.
